The Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to London's Victoria & Albert Museum this week, to see an exhibition with ties to the royal family.

Kate attended Fabergé in London: Romance to Revolution, an exhibition with more than 200 objects that celebrates the work of the Russian jeweller Carl Fabergé, who is known for using precious gems and metals to craft jewelled Imperial eggs for the Russian Empire. The exhibition also includes three items lent by Queen Elizabeth II: the Colonnade Egg, Basket of Flowers Egg, and Mosaic Egg.

For the outing, the duchess wore an elegant paisley top by Ralph Lauren. The long-sleeved blouse featured the psychedelic print in deep hues of navy blue, red, and black. Other details included a pussy-bow collar, barrel cuffs, and shirring on the sleeves.

She tucked the patterned top into a pair of high-waisted black trousers with a black leather belt. For accessories, the duchess wore circular gold earrings and a black face mask. She also wore her hair up in a curled ponytail.

The duchess, who earned a degree in art history at St. Andrew's University, became the first royal patron of V&A in 2018.

She last visited the museum this past May, when she toured new exhibitions as the institution prepared to reopen to the public for the first time since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

At the time, Kate wore a red pleated, houndstooth maxi dress by Alessandra Rich, which featured a prominent collar, bold buttons, and puffed sleeves. She completed her museum ensemble with classic navy pumps by Jennifer Chamandi, a suede clutch, hoop earrings, and a delicate necklace.
