Dwayne Haskins parts ways with agent David Mulugheta
It has been a week of change for Dwayne Haskins, and it’s not over yet. Two days after his release from the Washington Football Team, the free-agent quarterback has parted ways with his agent, David Mulugheta.

Mulugheta, the president of team sports at the Athletes First sports agency, is a well-respected agent in the NFL and represents a number of high-profile players. He secured Jalen Ramsey’s record-breaking deal with the Los Angeles Rams in September, and also negotiated massive contracts for Deshaun Watson and Budda Baker.
Mulugheta tweeted about his breakup with Haskins and wished him the best.
Dwayne is a great young man with whom I wish I could have continued to work with. Yet the decision was made that a fresh start would be in Dwayne’s best interest. I wish him nothing but success moving forward and will continue to root for him.

It’s not the best time for Haskins to need new representation. He is a free agent for the first time in his career, and with all the negative media attention surrounding his exit from Washington, he’ll need someone to help him handle the next few months without making any major missteps.
Multiple teams reportedly interested in Haskins
Haskins went unclaimed on waivers, but that doesn’t mean teams aren’t interested. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, several franchises are “intrigued” by Haskins, and the Carolina Panthers are reportedly one of them.
While free agent QB Dwayne Haskins is unlikely to sign before the season, he is receiving interest from several teams, source said. One of those is the Carolina Panthers, but there are others intrigued by Haskins.

Haskins isn’t expected to sign before the end of the season, but with Week 17’s games days away, he might want to start looking for a replacement for Mulugheta. Quickly.
