Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Tastes His Own Blood After Gym Accident In Intense Video

You didn’t think a little blood was gonna stop Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson from working out, did you?

On Monday, the action star posted an intense video on Instagram in which he shows off an eye injury he got while exercising with 50-pound chains. He reaches up and then tastes the blood flowing from the wound.

“That’s good,” he says. “That’s real good.”

So extra. So Rock.

“We ain’t playin’ tiddlywinks and we ain’t reciting nursery rhymes - it’s called the #ironparadise for a reason and things get extremely intense,” Johnson wrote in the caption of the video, which has now gone viral.

He did end up needing to get stitches ― but first, he had to get in the reps.

“Taste your blood, keep training and stitch up later — rules of the house,” he said.

The “Jumanji: The Next Level” star managed a smile at the end.

The former World Wrestling Entertainment great has a lot on his plate to stay fit for. IMDB lists several Rock projects in the works. One of them, the Interpol drama “Red Notice,” is currently filming.
