Yahoo Finance EastEnders airs another cameo from Lola Pearce-Brown
EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders featured another emotional scene tonight as the soap featured another brief cameo from Lola Pearce Brown as Lexi started her first day at school.
Lola died earlier this year after she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She left behind a young daughter — Lexi, whom she shares with Ben Mitchell. In recent episodes, Ben has been struggling with an eating disorder, which stems from his rape by Lewis Butler.
Ben has been in therapy, however, to deal with that trauma and his relationship with daughter Lexi is helping him. Early on in tonight's episode, Lexi prepared for her first day at school. Ben asked her to join him, however, as he had something he wanted to show her.

The two then sat down and watched a pre-recorded message from Lola, who had recorded it for Lexi to see specifically before her first day of school. In tears, Ben and Lexi watched the video.
"I want you to know how proud I am of you. You're my little girl and it's a big day," Lola said. "The popular kids ain't really all that and the weird kids ain't all that weird. Everybody just wants to be liked."
Ben and Lexi cried together on the sofa as they hugged and Lola continued: "Be kind. So just be yourself. Because you are kind. And funny. And beautiful. And I just want you to do your best."

"Mummy is with you in spirit every step of the way. Good luck darling. Mummy loves you so much," Lola finished.
And that was the end of a very emotional cameo from Lola actress Danielle Harold. This wasn't her first cameo, however, as she previously appeared in the funeral episode. In that episode, Lola left another emotional message — to Jay.
