At the British Soap Awards this weekend (June 3), she said: "It's lovely to be here tonight because Max's mum's here and I haven't seen her for ages, I adore her. So it's lovely to catch up with her. We're actually better than ever. It's a friendship, we're in such a good place."
Showing no regret, she added: "You take a risk, and you do something, and it doesn't work out, but that's life, you've got to take that risk."
When asked about future romance and if she was seeing anyone she shared: "I'm speaking to someone at the moment but it's very early days."

Shona has played Whitney Dean on the long-running soap since 2008 and has recently been at the centre of a very powerful storyline, alongside James Farrar.
Whitney (Shona) and Zack Hudson (James) were forced to terminate the pregnancy of their baby daughter Peach after doctor's diagnosed her with the rare condition Edwards' syndrome, which could have meant that the baby might not have survived.
The pair took time to thank fans of the show for their support in an Instagram video, with her caption saying: "We've both received so many moving messages from both men and women who have been through the pain of losing a child. Thank you for all your support through this sensitive storyline. We hope we've done it justice and played it with respect."
