'EastEnders' star Tameka Empson secretly welcomed baby boy during break from soap
EastEnders star Tameka Empson has welcomed her second child while on a break from the BBC programme.
The Kim Fox actor opened up on her new arrival on Loose Women as she explained why she kept quiet on her son's birth.
“I’ve been contributing to the human race… I have a baby boy, a bouncing baby boy,” she told the panellists.

On why she didn't immediately share the news publicly, Empson explained: “It wasn’t so much deliberate. I just wanted to enjoy it. A baby comes and you want to enjoy it before everyone says, ‘How’s he doing... etc..’”

The 43-year-old, who is also mother to six-year-old daughter Nylah, said coping with two children in lockdown had been difficult at times.
“[It’s] a challenge... nothing prepares you for it. My daughter is 6 and we’re doing homeschooling, and then you’ve got a newborn and you’ve got to watch everything… he’s sleeping now, which helps. I’m made of the good stuff, I’ve come through it OK,” she disclosed.
It comes as it has recently been revealed that Kim Fox will be making a comeback to Albert Square as Empson is returning to filming shortly.
This Morning's soap correspondent Sharon Marshall shared the news on the ITV show earlier in the week.
Empson has been absent from the soap for just over a year after her character received a promising job offer in Scotland.
Meanwhile, the actor is set to appear alongside onscreen sister Diane Parish on EastEnders' behind-the-scenes show Secrets from the Square.
