eBay Earnings Beat, Revenue Misses In Q2

Investing.com - eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) reported second quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Wednesday and revenue that fell short of forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.68 on revenue of $2.69. Analysts polled by Investing.com forecast EPS of $0.62 on revenue of $2.68B. That compared to EPS of $0.53 on revenue of $2.64B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.67 on revenue of $2.64B in the previous quarter.

eBay shares gained 3.51% to trade at $40.40 in after-hours trade following the report.

On Wednesday, Netflix reported second quarter EPS of $0.6 on revenue of $4.92B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $0.56 on revenue of $4.93B.
