EBITA

Earnings before interest, tax and amortisation (EBITA) is a measure of a firm’s efficiency and profitability. However, it is often overlooked in favour of EBIT – earnings before tax and interest - as it includes amortisation which relates to a company’s intangible assets and cannot be used even in rough approximations for replacement costs.
