6 Elf On The Shelf Ideas To Say Goodbye On Christmas Eve

It’s been emotional, Elf. But it’s time to say goodbye.

Parents: you want to give him a good send-off, of course, so here are a few ideas for the last day (!) of Elf on the Shelf.

‘See ya’

Sure, it’s a little messy – but if you have snow spray, put a load on your door and carve out the elf and some words.

‘The floor is lava’

Here, the elf is climbing out the house, with present bows to stick him to the window.

‘I left some treats’

If they’re having chocolate for breakfast, why can’t they have doughnuts, too?

‘I’ll be back’

A little poem will work well – and this elf has left some reindeer food (read: porridge oats) as well.

‘I’m coming home, Santa!’

Or, prop the elf up at the commuter screen.

‘Bye!’

Mini marshmallows work well for a goodbye message. Till next year, y’all!
