Yahoo Finance Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough has trained to become a death doula
Elvis Presley's granddaughter, the actor Riley Keough, has completed training as a death midwife after losing her brother last year.
The Mad Max: Fury Road actor has been studying to be a death doula, which means she will be able to support people through terminal illness and end-of-life care.
She wrote on Instagram: "Today I finished my Death Doula training, on The Art of Death Midwifery training course by @sacred_crossings so I guess I’m an almost certified death doula now hehe

"And I just felt like writing such a deep thank you to this community who are teaching and training people in conscious dying and death work.
"We are taught that its a morbid subject to talk about. Or were so afraid of it that we’re unable to talk about it... then of course it happens to us, and we are very ill prepared."
Doulas are more commonly known for their work supporting women in labour, but Keough will be looking to support people who are dying.
Keough, 31, continued: "I think it’s so important to be educated on conscious dying and death the way we educate ourselves on birth and conscious birthing. We prepare ourselves so rigorously for the entrance and have no preparation for our exit.
"So I’m so grateful for this community and to be able to contribute what I can."
Keough, whose mother is Lisa Marie Presley, lost her younger brother Benjamin to suicide last year when he was aged 27.
Her death doula training will allow her to offer practical, emotional and spiritual support to people who are dying and their loved ones, and to support those around them in the days after their death.
