A Quiet Place Part II is nearly here (finally!) and we've got a new trailer for the sequel to get us in the mood.

The final trailer goes right back to the beginning of the outbreak to show the chaos of that first day, before cutting to Emily Blunt's Evelyn Abbott out in the world, trying to survive with her two children after the events of the first movie.

They must all face the terrors of the outside world as they're forced to venture into the unknown, where they'll discover that the creatures aren't the only threats around.

A Quiet Place Part II was among the first movies to be delayed as a result of the ongoing global situation. It was only a week away from its initial March 20, 2020 release when it was first delayed, and had already held its world premiere.

The horror sequel was first pushed to September 2020 before being delayed to April 2021 and then again to September 2021. There was good news on the horizon though as the sequel was then moved forward to May 28 in the US and June 3 in the UK.

It's still been a long wait for fans of A Quiet Place though, as the sequel was praised in first reactions as being "unexpected" and "terrifying".

If you're in the US, the horror sequel will be available to watch on Paramount's streaming service Paramount+ 45 days after its theatrical release. Unfortunately, the service isn't available in the UK, so it's only at the cinema you'll be able to see it.

This won't be the end of A Quiet Place either. It was reported in November 2020 that there's a spin-off movie in the works. Based on an original story by John Krasinski, the new movie will be directed by Jeff Nichols.

Krasinski has also spoken about already having ideas for a third movie, but it's unclear if he meant the spin-off or a direct sequel to A Quiet Place Part II.

A Quiet Place Part II is released in US cinemas on May 28 and UK cinemas on June 3.
