Next week on Emmerdale: A fatal fall for Gabby? Plus Harriet is left panicked by a grave discovery (spoilers)
Is Gabby set to suffer a miscarriage following a fall? Who has it in for the Kings? And is Harriet’s killer secret about to be revealed?
Many big Emmerdale questions are in need of answers in your spoiler-tastic guide to the week of 8-12 March, 2021...
Gabby’s traumatic collapse
Who has your sympathy in the overwrought story of Gabby’s pregnancy? Probably not the mum-to-be, who seems more concerned with snaring the Home Farm heir. And definitely not Jamie, who’s secretly scheming for the mother of his unborn child to have a termination.
The next development sees a devastated Gabby witnessing Jamie kiss Dawn and realising that he was only pretending to care about her. As the penny drops that Jamie was trying to keep her on side just so he could persuade her to have a termination, Gabby vows to put Kim in the picture. But while attempting to rush away, she suffers a nasty fall.

Who hates Jimmy and Nicola?
A short while ago, we saw a brooding Jimmy warn wife Nicola that if her strategy where Juliette was concerned backfired, then he’d blame her for ruining their happy family unit. Well, Nicola may end up feeling the full force of Jimmy’s wrath in the weeks to come, as it seems that somebody is now plotting against the Kings to remove little Carl from their care.
What we’ll see is Jimmy reluctantly agreeing to let Juliette spend some time alone with Carl in a playground after she sends a solicitor’s letter requesting that they formalise arrangements. When Carl returns, having enjoyed the time spent with his birth mum, Jimmy is left venting his frustrations to Nicola.
But what he doesn’t realise is that a photographer is surreptitiously taking pictures that paint the Kings as a warring couple. Might this biased evidence be used against them?
Manpreet surprises Rishi
Given that each word which comes from Manpreet’s mouth is, at best, a half-truth and, at worst, an outright lie, it seems surprising that she now wants to renew her wedding vows.
Rishi is certainly caught off guard by the idea, which is entirely understandable. I mean, who knows what she’ll end up saying at the pivotal moment? Or even whether she’ll show up for the ceremony at all? She doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to wedding-related matters.
Harriet panics
Vicars are used to overseeing burials, but very rarely decide to dig bodies back up again under the cover of darkness. Harriet, though, is a clergywoman guilty of an almighty cover-up having recently shifted the corpse of DI Malone away from the church graveyard.
Now, there’s set to be an exhumation of the grave where Malone was once hidden, and a dread-filled Harriet will be witnessed by Charles staring at the screened-off plot.
As Harriet voices her disapproval in histrionic tones, Charles worries about her state of mind. And when one of the foremen gets startled by something unusual at the digging site, a wide-eyed Harriet freezes with fear.
By the week’s end, it seems as though the pressure will have proved too much for the panic-stricken cleric, with Will receiving a letter written by her that leaves him alarmed. Just what has Harriet done?
