Yahoo Finance Emmerdale's Amelia Spencer gets creepy messages in social media storyline
Amelia Spencer is set to receive creepy messages as part of a new social media storyline on Emmerdale.
In new scenes set to air on the ITV soap, Mandy Dingle returns home from the Lake District to find the salon in a state of chaos, while Amelia films a video and tries to convince Mandy that social media would be good for the salon.
Amelia also tries to convince her dad Dan the next day that a social media page may be good for her and Esther, though he disagrees – however, later on, he agrees to trust her.

Excited to begin her new project, Amelia is happy when a subscriber requests to donate money to her page, and Sarah coaches her a bit in making more money.
However, things take a dark turn when Amelia tells Sarah that she's received a creepy message.
Dan is impressed later on when Amelia's phone continues to buzz, though Amelia is unnerved when she gets another creepy message.
Amelia is pleased to be making money from her project, and heads off shopping, and her father is proud of her, even while not understanding the world she's now in.

Earlier this year, Amelia actress Daisy Campbell confirmed that she had signed a new year-long contract with the soap, telling The Sun: "I’d love to stay on it for as long as I can.
"I recently signed for another year and couldn’t be happier. But I never take it for granted because you never know when they might kill you off. It can happen to anyone."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
