Enel ordinary net profit beats guidance

MILAN (Reuters) - Italy's biggest utility Enel said on Thursday its ordinary net profit last year rose 14.4 percent to 3.71 billion euros (£3.2 billion) to beat company guidance.

The state-controlled utility, which gave preliminary results in February, said it would pay a dividend on last year's results of 0.237 euros per share.

"We confirm our financial targets for 2018," Enel CEO Francesco Starace said.
