Equinor says drilling shutting down at Norway's Snorre B platform but production still on
OSLO (Reuters) - Oil and gas major Equinor <EQNR.OL>, operator of the Snorre B platform in the North Sea told Reuters that the site's drilling is shutting down due to a strike that started Tuesday, but that production was ongoing.
"They are shutting down the drilling at Snorre B but production is being maintained. We can maintain production independently as long as it is needed, it is not related to the drilling operations," said an Equinor spokesman.
He declined to comment on the platform's daily output.
