Essar Energy reports brief flaring at Stanlow refinery

LONDON, June 12 (Reuters) - Essar Energy (LSE: ESSR.L - news) on Thursday reported a brief flaring as a result of a unit trip at its 245,000 barrel per day Stanlow refinery in Britain.

The unit resumed normal operations shortly after the incident, a spokesman said, without providing further details.

"There was a trip of a piece of equipment and flaring for a short period and the unit is now back on line," he said. (Reporting by Ron Bousso, editing by David Evans)
