Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Cracks soar on Pernis maintenance, Colonial

LONDON, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Gasoline refining margins in northwest Europe rose on Tuesday above $11 a tonne to their highest in nearly three months after maintenance started at Shell (LSE: RDSB.L - news) 's Pernis refinery and due to outages in a major U.S (Other OTC: UBGXF - news) . pipeline.

* Shell has began maintenance work at its 404,000 barrels per day Pernis refinery in the Netherlands, the Anglo-Dutch company said in a phoneline community message. The work could lead to increased flaring and noise and is expected to be completed in November. The company did not specify which units the work will include.

* The Colonial Pipeline in the United States confirmed it allocated space for gasoline on line 2 after a leak in Alabama led to the shutting of line 1.

* The spread between U.S. gasoline futures for delivery in November to December jumped to a record high on Tuesday, affected by Colonial Pipeline's gasoline line shutdown.

* European gasoline was also supported by continued exports from the region to the U.S. East Coast and West Africa.

GASOLINE

* Gunvor sold to Shell one barge of benchmark Eurobob gasoline during the afternoon trading session at $485 a tonne fob ARA.

* Some 18,000 tonnes traded earlier in the day at $480-$85 a tonne fob Amsterdam-Rotterdam, compared with a volume-weighted-average price of $488.75 a tonne on Monday.

* Rolympus sold to Total (LSE: 524773.L - news) one barge of premium unleaded gasoline at $497 a tonne fob ARA, down from $508 a tonne.

* The October swap stood at around $457.50 a tonne at the close, down from $469 a tonne.

* Gasoline barge refining margins rose to $11.4 a barrel from $10.9 a barrel on Monday, their highest since June 30.

* Brent crude oil futures were down $1.05 at $47.27 a barrel by 1613 GMT.

* U.S. August RBOB gasoline futures were down 0.18 percent at 1.3875 a gallon.

* The U.S. gasoline crack (RB-CL1=R) was trading at $13.20 a barrel, up from $12.22 a barrel.

NAPHTHA (NAF-C-NWE)

* BP sold two cargoes to Gunvor and Statoil (LSE: 0M2Z.L - news) at $387-$388 a tonne cif NWE, compared with $402 and $403 a tonne on Monday.
