European stocks rebound at open; London up 0.72%

Europe (EUREX: FMEU.EX - news) 's main stock markets rebounded at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 (FTSE Index: EO100.FGI - news) index up 0.72 percent at 6,072.49 points.

Elsewhere, Frankfurt's DAX 30 (Xetra: ^GDAXI - news) won 0.63 percent to 7,741.13 points and in Paris the CAC 40 (Paris: FR0003502053 - news) rallied 1.30 percent to 3,642.35 compared with Monday's closing levels.

European equities had slumped on Monday, hit by concern over the emergence of a liquidity crisis in China and the looming withdrawal of US Federal Reserve stimulus, dealers said.
