Elle’s 2023 Women in Hollywood Celebration on Tuesday in Los Angeles recognized the notable women stars making waves in the film and music industries and beyond, tapping America Ferrera, Fantasia Barrino Taylor, Jennifer Lopez and more as honorees.

Presenters for the event, which included sponsors Ralph Lauren, Harry Winston and Viarae Prosecco, included Kerry Washington, Oprah Winfrey and Eva Longoria.

Eva Longoria at Elle’s Women in Hollywood Celebration 2023 on Dec. 5 in Los Angeles.

Longoria, who presented to “Barbie” star America Ferrera, wore a Ralph Lauren Reymond embellished tulle evening dress, with shining details including beads and sequins.

Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington layered a patterned fringe cardigan over a black jumpsuit, styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. The actress’s Western-inspired outfit, which was completed with a statement gold belt, was from Ralph Lauren’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

Taraji P. Henson and KaMillion

Taraji P. Henson posed next to “Rap Sh!t” actress KaMillion in a black one-shoulder Ralph Lauren gown. Her all-black frock featured a series of mini pleats, which looked sculpted onto her body. At the event, Henson accepted an honor on behalf of her fellow “The Color Purple” castmates, presented by Oprah Winfrey.

Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha channeled Old Hollywood in a black dress with heightened off-the-shoulder fabric framing her shoulders. Rexha last wore black at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards in November, donning a Garo Sparo corset gown.

Jurnee Smollett

Jurnee Smollett brought classic touches to the event, in a black-and-white Ralph Lauren gown with a thigh-high slit. The actress collaborated with stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn on her one-shoulder outfit.

Normani

Normani looked to Turkish-British designer Dilara Findikoglu for her outfit, which was a long-sleeve leather dress with pointy bra-cups and zipper details. The singer’s look was from Findikoglu’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection, which according to WWD was about “women possessing their bodies back.”

Alexandra Daddario
