Two box office managers of the last two decades collide this evening as Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham travel to Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton.

Between the two of them, Mourinho and Ancelotti have won five European Cups as coaches, a startling pedigree for Premier League bosses who currently occupy seventh and eighth in the table.

This season has not taken shape in a way either would have wanted it to, with Spurs falling away drastically and Everton failing to put a significant run of results together.

Nevertheless, they are both still in with a slim chance of playing Champions League football next season, so you have to say this remains a big game.

Here is all you need to know ahead of the match.

When is it?

The match will kick off at 8pm GMT on Friday, April 16.

How can I watch it?

The fixture will air live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League. Subscribers will also be able to watch the match online.

What is the team news?

Everton prepare to welcome back a crucial quartet of players with Jordan Pickford, Allan, Andre Gomes and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all hoping to return for Ancelotti’s side.

But Yerry Mina is unavailable for the coming weeks as he joins the list of absentees which also includes Bernard, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Fabian Delph and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Meanwhile, Spurs remain without Ben Davies and Matt Doherty but have no fresh injury concerns.

Confirmed line-ups

Everton: Pickford, Holgate, Godfrey, Keane, Digne, Allan, Davies, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Rodriguez, Richarlison.

Tottenham: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Rodon, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Sissoko, Ndombele, Son, Kane.

Odds

Everton - 23/10

Draw: 5/2

Tottenham - 23/20

Prediction

Everton seem to bounce between the sublime to the ridiculous so you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get from them. By contrast, you’re almost certain at this point what you’re going to get from Mourinho’s Spurs side. If the visitors allow the Toffees to come onto them like they almost certainly will, Everton should eventually make them pay. 2-1 Everton.
