Exxon Mobile Elects Angela Braly To Its Board
Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE: XOM) revealed that its shareholders elected Angela Braly to its board. According to the company, Braly is the former chairman, president and CEO of health insurance company WellPoint, which is now called as Anthem.
The oil company said that with the election of Braly, its board stands at 14 directors, with 12 of them non-employee directors.

Exxon Mobil said that Braly served as chairman of WellPoint between 2010 and 2012 and president and CEO of the company between 2007 and 2012. Before that, Braly held different senior executive positions at WellPoint.
The energy company said that she received a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas Tech University and a law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
The stock traded 0.5 percent higher on Wednesday.
