Facebook tumbling on revenue hit, AMD popping, Gilead's CEO departs

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day:

Facebook (FB): Shares tumbling here, down around 19%. The social media giant reported a revenue miss last night that surprised investors, and on the call predicted that future expenses would outpace revenue growth. Ouch.

AMD (AMD): Shares surging here, up around 11%. The chipmaker beat on both the top and bottom lines, noting that it saw a rising demand in its PC business.

Gilead Sciences (GILD): Shares are dropping in midday trade, down around 1%, following its earnings release. The biotech company also revealed that CEO John Milligan, and Chairman John Martin would be leaving their positions by the end of the year.
