Sex And The City fans have finally discovered how And Just Like That addresses the fact Samantha Jones does not feature in the revival - and they're not happy.

Finally! The day is here! And Just Like That drops on NOW today, and fans are already obsessing over Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York as we explore life in their 50s.

But one character who is noticeably absent is Samantha Jones, aka actress Kim Catrall, who allegedly fell out with Sarah Jessica Parker during the original filming for Sex And The City.

So, with one of the originals not present for the reboot, how do they deal with her absence? The opening scene reveals Samantha is no longer speaking to her friends Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis), with the storyline echoing real life.

And Just Like That explains that Samantha ended her friendship with Carrie after she was terminated as her publicist. "It’s kind of like she’s dead, we never talk about her,” Carrie tells Miranda in one early scene. "She stopped returning my calls."

Miranda replies, "Her pride got damaged," with Carrie adding, "I thought I was more to her than an ATM. I always thought the four of us would be friends forever."

Viewers then discover Charlotte and Miranda's phone calls and texts to Samantha have also gone unanswered, and she has relocated from New York to London.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Chris Noth, who plays Mr Big. opened up about SJP and Kim Cattrall's feud, explaining that he thinks Cattrall may have got the wrong end of the stick. "I have absolutely no idea what her thinking is, or her emotions," he admitted.

"I do know that I’m very close with SJ and [Cattrall’s] descriptions of her don’t even come close.”

Is anyone else waiting with bated breath for Kim's reaction to the show? Because same.
