After a turtle serial killer sparked panic, a farmer reunited three missing ducklings with their mom.
The TikTok account @knucklebumpfarms shared the “true crime” story. When a farmer discovered three ducklings swimming alone in the pond, she knew she had to intervene lest the turtle serial killer has its way. She then went on what was mostly a wild goose chase that ended in a touching family reunion.

“Did none of you get the memo? There is a turtle serial killer on the loose. Where is your mother?” she asked a group of three ducklings swimming in the pond.
She took the three ducklings around from mama duck to mama duck, asking around if the babies belonged to anyone. There was no shortage of mama ducks to ask, either. It was a farm, after all.
“Excuse me, ma’am, do you have a moment? Are these your children,” she asked a mother duck who promptly swam away.
She proceeded to ask around the ducks in the barn until she discovered one in the attic. The mama duck immediately recognized her children and perked up when she saw them. The ducklings quickly ran toward her. All was well.

“We love a family reunion!” the farmer said. “Wow, we love a happy ending.”
The farmer explained in the comment section that they recently “had 3 baby swans hatch this past week, turtles got 2 of them and the 3rd died shortly after. Most likely from shock.”
“It’s 10 a.m. do you know where your children are?” a user joked.
“Ya know sometimes mommas just need a break,” another wrote.
“I manage an indoor play facility for children and this is my life on a busy Saturday,” a TikToker replied.
