Festive holiday snack boards that TikTok loves

Whether you’re throwing a big bash or staying cozy by the fire, a festive snack board is the perfect addition to any holiday celebration. With the vast assortment of meats and cheeses, not to mention candies and cookies, it’s no wonder why snack boards are taking over TikTok! If you’re looking for some inspiration for your next holiday spread, here are five festive snack boards.

Taking a long flight home for the holidays? Here are some hacks to make your journey bearable.

1. Hanukkah snack board

For a Hanukkah snack board that’s as lit as the menorah, look no further than this lineup! TikToker @gabbieadner begins by arranging a wavy line of latkes on a wooden board with a menorah and three silver dipping cups. Next, she adds some Havarti cheese cubes around the latkes and cups, followed by several piles of sliced apples arranged in a fan shape. She fills the cups with applesauce, sour cream and honey before placing challah bread and jelly pastries on the corners. For a sweet finishing touch, she fills the empty spaces on the board with chocolate Hanukkah gelt, golden raisins and grapes.

2. Christmas tree snack board

This charming charcuter-tree can make even the biggest Grinch smile. TikToker @thatcheeseplate begins by arranging rosemary stalks in three upside down V shapes across the board. Next, she lines each rosemary assortment with chunks of feta cheese. She then adds prosciutto and olives to fill the top half of the tree, as well as pecans and berries for the bottom half. Finally, she tops the tree with a sugar cookie star, followed by a cluster of smaller sugar cookie stars and pomegranate seeds throughout the rosemary.

3. Hot chocolate holiday snack board

Hot chocolate is such a delicious holiday favorite that it deserves its own snack board. This arrangement involves a wave of silver Hanukkah gelt across the board, followed by a corner of marshmallows. Candy canes are neatly placed in a glass jar alongside wafer cookies, and gingerbread men line the rim of a mug on the opposite side of the board. Finally, any empty spaces are filled with marshmallows, chocolates, Sno-Caps and chocolate-covered pretzels before a sprinkling of coconut shavings.

4. Candy cane snack board

This snack board has earned its stripes — literally! The candy cane is made by adding piles of alternating red and white cheeses, meats and berries, lining the side of the board before forming a curve at the top. For a finishing touch, rosemary stalks are placed throughout the spread, along with round peppermints and sugared berries.

5. Chrismukkah charcuterie chalet

A hybrid between a snack board and a gingerbread house, charcuterie chalets are raising the roof! This house is built using matzah for the baseboards and glued together with cream cheese as well as spreadable soft cheeses. Crackers serve as the front windows, while mini salami sticks form the side windows. A prosciutto door with a caper handle functions as the main entrance. A matzah roof with pepperoni tiles nicely tops off the house.
