Fewest UK businesses report high uncertainty since Feb 2020: BoE

Canary Wharf business district in London

LONDON (Reuters) - The share of British businesses reporting high levels of uncertainty fell to 50% last month, the lowest percentage since February last year, before the COVID-19 pandemic swept the country, a Bank of England survey showed on Thursday.

The survey showed the pandemic would drag on business investment this quarter and next by slightly more than shown in the April survey of the BoE's Decision Maker Panel.
