HOUSTON, Aug 17 (Reuters) - A fire broke out on a crude unit at Royal Dutch Shell Plc (LSE: 0LN9.L - news) 's 325,700 barrel-per-day (bpd) joint-venture Deer Park, Texas, refinery on Thursday, said sources familiar with plant operations.
