Folarin Balogun is hungry for more minutes at Arsenal after scoring his first goal for the club.

Balogun came off the bench against Molde on Thursday night in the Europa League and scored the final goal as Arsenal ran out 3-0 winners.

It was the first time the 19-year-old, who has been a star for the Gunners’ youth teams, had scored for the senior side.

And now Balogun, whose contract at Arsenal is due to expire at the end of the season, is eyeing up more opportunities to shine.

“My job is just to always give the manager a question mark,” Balogun told Arsenal’s website.

“So I feel like from today I was able to do that and I feel like hopefully I can get an opportunity to carry on doing that.

“I’m feeling really happy, it shows that all the hard work I’ve put in over the years is just starting to pay off.

“It’s important that I keep working hard to enjoy more moments like this. I didn’t think that particular [break for the goal] was going to be my chance, but I always try to stay ready and I’m happy that on this occasion it paid off.

“It’s been good [to be involved], it’s nice to see the boss showing faith in me. It feels like this is good experience for me, I just need to keep on learning, keep on adding to my game and I’m happy that I could contribute today.”
