Food For London Now: Run or raffle to bag cash for our Christmas appeal

Our drive to tackle food poverty in the capital will be supported by designer shoppers and outdoor joggers this Christmas as brands rally behind our Food For London Now appeal partners.

Mulberry aims to donate the equivalent of 100,000 meals to The Felix Project by raffling off some of its most iconic bags for £1 this month.

Felix will use the funds to gather surplus, high-quality food and redistribute it to organisations including charity With Compassion, which has been using it to offer a thousand hot meals a day to those in need as part of the Standard’s Christmas appeal.

Those looking to keep up their fitness ahead of the festive period are being asked to take part in daily sponsored jogs in support of Felix.

In the 12 days of Christmas virtual challenge, participants will run or walk for an hour every day from December 13 until Christmas Eve, linked to one another by running club Onetrack.

Those who pay the £10 minimum entry fee will also be guided by one of Onetrack’s coaches.
