Frankie Muniz and his wife Paige have welcomed their first child into the world.

The proud new father posted a video of himself to his Instagram Story announcing the baby boy's arrival to his followers.

"I'm a dad, guys. I love him so much, I love my wife so much. I just love them," the emotional star shared as he cradle the tot, although did not show the baby's face.

They later shared a video montage from their gender reveal party in November where they cut into a cake, revealing blue filling.

Muniz and his wife tied the knot in February last year, four years to the day they first met.

The Malcolm in the Middle star told People at the time: "From the moment of waking up together and jumping on the bed hyping each other up, to helping our wedding planner with setting things up at the venue, all the way to walking down the aisle with my best friend hand in hand with our closest friends and family in attendance. Everything was just so us.

"I always thought it was such a cliché for people to claim their wedding day as the best day of their life, like maybe it was something they had to say. No, my wedding day was literally the best day of my life!"
