French mulls new measures to limit impact of rising electricity prices -source

PARIS (Reuters) - The French government is studying additional measures to limit the impact on consumers of the sharp increase of electricity prices, a government source told Reuters.

Confirming a report by newspaper Le Figaro, the source said one of the moves under consideration was to force EDF to sell more nuclear power at a preferential rate to its competitors.

EDF's shares were down almost 4% following the report.
