PARIS (Reuters) - French utility EDF <EDF.PA> said on Tuesday that nuclear power generation at its reactors in France dropped by 20.9% to 21.7 terawatt hours (TWh) year-on-year in September due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and reactor outages.

It said total generation in France since the start of the year was 241.1 TWh, compared with 288.2 TWh in 2019, down 16.3%.

EDF said its cumulative nuclear generation output in Britain since the start of the year was 32.6 TWh, down 11.5% compared with the same period in 2019.
