Yahoo Finance Gigi Hadid Posted Cute New Photos Of Her And Baby Khai Having A Pool Day In Matching Suits
Summer is just beginning, and already Gigi Hadid is introducing baby Khai, almost nine months, to pool life. The model shared a series of photos featuring her and Khai in the pool. Khai also appears in a third shot just on her own in the Instagram carousel. Her face is hidden, as Gigi has made a point to protect Khai's privacy, but Khai's hair is on full display, giving fans a clear look at its warm, almost-strawberry blonde-like colour in the sun.
Gigi's sister Bella spoke to Vogue earlier this year about Gigi's decision to keep Khai's face off of social media. 'I think she wants to be real online, but until her child wants to be in the spotlight and can make the decision herself, she doesn't want to put her in that position,' Bella said.
Gigi herself told Vogue seeing how her friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' three daughters have grown up out of the limelight inspired her decision: 'I have friends who are public figures and that's how they’ve gone about it [not sharing full photographs of their kids], and I see their kids really blossom in a different way.'
Lively said she spoke with Gigi during her pregnancy and gave her advice on navigating parenthood in the spotlight. 'I told her you have to do what works for you,' Lively recalled. 'Gigi has a really special relationship with her fans, and I love how open she is on social media. I love seeing into her world. I'm grateful for what she shares but also understand whatever boundaries she chooses to set.'
