Going digital: 13 famous actors who are now YouTubers

Over the period of time YouTube has become the bread and butter for many people, so much so that many 'YouTubers' have made millions off their videos, which could include rants, reviews, daily vlogs among others. 

Knowing the importance of having a digital presence, Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities have come down from the big screen to make themselves accessible to their fans and audience via YouTube. 

Here are some of the many actors who have turned to YouTube to grow their fan base and give them a slice of their life. 

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt's YouTube channel features her day-to-day activities, right from morning workout to fun images of her best friend, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Alia's YouTube channel took over the digital platform in June and consists of approx. 1.5 million subscribers, with more than 90,000 views on each video.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra

Yoga-diva Shilpa has almost 2.5 million YouTube subscribers. And all thanks to her weight-loss diet and yoga videos in the Art of Wellness program in YouTube's digital space. Shilpa took reign over YouTube's digital space in June of 2016, and she is experiencing a considerable number of viewership and likes.

Madhuri Dixit Nene

The original 'Dhak Dhak' girl is taking YouTube by storm by giving us a peek into her life. From family vlogs to skincare and haircare routines, Madhuri has it all on her channel. 

Disha Patani

Disha stands one amongst the countless Bollywood actresses with good 'body of steel'! And she never forgets to upload videos working out her biceps, triceps, and other muscle groups. Her videos range from dance to workout content for her 371,000 subscribers. 

Varun Dhawan

It was not too late after Varun made his acting debut in 2012 to successfully launched a YouTube channel. He started his journey in the world of digital space in April 2012. And since then, there was no looking back! The Bollywood rom-com hero has been engaging fans with videos on that platform as well.

Kartik Aaryan

Along with his energizing comedic performances, the boy-next-door Kartik has been held in the highest regard by his fans because of his lightning-fast acting and comic timing. He's a chatterbox but doesn't forget to let his followers know when he posts on his YouTube channel.

Mahesh Babu

In July 2015, Mahesh, a South celebrity, started ruling the digital space of YouTube. His YouTube channel features footage of his public appearances, speeches, trailers, and campaigning for social causes.

Erica Fernandes

This popular Indian television actress has amassed a fan based thanks to her shows like xxxx, while now she boasts of 1.47 millions subscribers on YouTube. Ranging from skincare, haircare and makeup routines, she has grown as beauty Youtuber in the digital space. 

Zac Efron

The 'High School Musical' star has grown up and how. Being a fitness enthusiast and an adventure junkie, Zac started a YouTube channel that combines both his passion, and they feature some of his famous friends, including Nina Dobrev, Victoria's Secret Angels Alexandra Daddario. 

Brie Larson

Captain Marvel have come down on earth to save us all from the pandemic boredom. The actress started a YouTube channel in 2020 and more than 500,000 subscribers. She talks about everything from fitness to music to even audition stories. 

Madelaine Petsch

If you are a Riverdale fan, then you know that Madelaine has a huge YouTube following. With more than 6.5 million subscribers, the actress gives a peek into her life on sets of Riverdale, which includes her co-stars on many occasions. 

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

The 'Mad Max Fury' and 'Transformers' model-turned-actress started a YouTube channel for all things beauty. Her minimal approach to beauty and makeup and her aesthetics has what has gained her more than 200,000 subscribers. 

Will Smith

'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' has some of the most entertaining videos on his YouTube channel. From his travel adventures to behind the scenes on his movie sets, Will Smith is a riot to follow. His 9.1 million followers would agree to this.
