Over the period of time YouTube has become the bread and butter for many people, so much so that many 'YouTubers' have made millions off their videos, which could include rants, reviews, daily vlogs among others.

Knowing the importance of having a digital presence, Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities have come down from the big screen to make themselves accessible to their fans and audience via YouTube.

Here are some of the many actors who have turned to YouTube to grow their fan base and give them a slice of their life.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt's YouTube channel features her day-to-day activities, right from morning workout to fun images of her best friend, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Alia's YouTube channel took over the digital platform in June and consists of approx. 1.5 million subscribers, with more than 90,000 views on each video.

Yoga-diva Shilpa has almost 2.5 million YouTube subscribers. And all thanks to her weight-loss diet and yoga videos in the Art of Wellness program in YouTube's digital space. Shilpa took reign over YouTube's digital space in June of 2016, and she is experiencing a considerable number of viewership and likes.

The original 'Dhak Dhak' girl is taking YouTube by storm by giving us a peek into her life. From family vlogs to skincare and haircare routines, Madhuri has it all on her channel.
