Yahoo Finance Haley Joel Osment would jump at the chance to do a 'Sixth Sense' sequel
Haley Joel Osment has declared his interest in reprising his role as Cole Sear from The Sixth Sense.
Osment rose to prominence thanks to his part in M Night Shyamalan’s 1999 smash-hit thriller, giving a performance that earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor at just 11 years old.

During a conversation with Comic Book.com to mark his upcoming turn in The Devil Has A Name, Osment was asked if he’d ever be interested in reprising his role as Sear.
The actor said he doubted Shyamalan would do a crossover movie like Split again, but added: “Anytime Night calls, that's his universe, so I'd definitely be up to dive in there with him again.
“It's crazy, we had the 20th anniversary of the film last fall and we did a screening at Hollywood Forever and all that stuff and it's wild that it's been that many years.”
In 2017, Shyamalan revealed that the previous year’s Split was actually a sequel to his 2000 film Unbreakable, as Bruce Willis’ character David Dunn appeared in an end credits sequence.

The Sixth Sense proved to be a hugely successful movie for Osment and Shyamalan alike. Made for £30 million ($40 million), it went on to gross £515 million ($672.8 million) worldwide, while earning rave reviews and six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.
Shyamalan followed up The Sixth Sense with movies including Unbreakable, Signs, The Village, The Visit, Split and Glass, while his films have grossed over £2.3 billion ($3 billion) at the box office.
His next film Old is another thriller, this time based on the graphic novel Sandcastle, which is scheduled for release on July 23 next year.
