Yahoo Finance Halle Berry teams up with Sweaty Betty on stylish athleisure range
Hollywood icon Halle Berry has collaborated with Sweaty Betty on a brand new workout range, and we want absolutely everything in the stylish collection.
The Oscar-winning actress – who has her own wellness brand, rē∙spin – helped design the range, which launches online and in stores on Tuesday (18 May).
The limited edition collection, dubbed the The rē∙spin Edit, contains 22 pieces designed to be both technical and stylish with a flattering finish.
"I’m excited to launch my first activewear collection in collaboration with Sweaty Betty," Halle said in a release. "Sweaty Betty was the first brand that came to mind – they know how to make technical activewear that not only looks great, but also truly performs.
"I love their mission to inspire and empower women to live an active life, as well as the value they place in community – a mission we share at rē∙spin."
One of the key pieces in Halle's range is a new twist on her favourite Sweaty Betty piece, the Power Legging.
"I’ve worn the Power Legging for years, so it was an amazing experience to design my own version, named after one of my most iconic roles: Storm," Halle added. "I worked closely with Sweaty Betty’s design team, entirely over Zoom, to make my vision of this collection come to life. I’m so proud of what we’ve created. It’s truly a reflection of my lifestyle and features pieces that can take you from studio to street – and beyond."
The entire range is crafted from high-performance fabrics, and comes in a timeless colour palette of classic blacks, shaded greys, and soft creams. Everything looks super sleek and stylish, and it's safe to say we're now thinking about updating our workout gear for the new season!
You can shop the full range when it launches on the Sweaty Betty site later today (18 May), but you may need to be quick as we predict a sell-out. That said, a second drop is coming in October so watch this space.
