Halted alumina output could hinder Guinea growth: Finance Minstry report
CONAKRY (Reuters) - Guinea's 2013 growth target could be undermined by a lack of alumina output in the first half of the year stemming from a prolonged shutdown of RUSAL's 630,000 tonne-per-year Friguia refinery, a finance ministry report said. Work at the refinery was suspended in April 2012 following a labour dispute. Guinea has fixed a 2013 GDP growth target of 2.9 percent, down from an initial forecast of 4.5 percent.
