Meghan revealed how The Queen had shared a blanket with her to keep her knees warm at the first social engagement they attended together - pointing out that the Duchess does not say anything negative about the Monarch during the chat.

Myleene Klass tweeted: "The Queen sharing her Nana blanket is adorable."

Kelly wrote: "The Queen shared her blankie. How sweet."

Catherine tweeted: "I like that Meghan said that the Queen made her feel welcomed on their first official engagement."

Singer songwriter Rationale said: "Context is everything. 30mins into this interview & it doesn’t sound like Meghan had any issues with the queen & they actually had a good relationship. If anything these all sound like family dramas that spilled out into the media & the benefactors where.. the media."

UK viewers were also amused that Meghan referred to Sarah Ferguson, Prince Harry's aunt, by her tabloid nickname 'Fergie."
