Sure it goes in your tea but do you know how ginger helps your body?

The most common spice in most Indian dishes, ginger is also revered in Ayurveda for its wide range of qualities. Used to treat simple problems like nausea and inflammation, ginger is also used as a protective measure against major diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc.

Its best-known quality, of course, is its ability to cure cold and common flu.

However, one should not intake more than four grams of ginger a day, as this can cause side effects such as belching, gas, heartburn, or an upset stomach. Pregnant women should also consult their doctors before consuming ginger.
