While Flip or Flop's Christina Anstead will not be invited to Tarek El Moussa's upcoming wedding, the exes still maintain an amicable relationship as co-parents. El Moussa's fiancée Heather Rae Young, who has became a "bonus mom" to his kids, recently opened up about what it's like to co-parent with Anstead.

"It's going great. Everything is going great. Everything is for the kids," Young told Life & Style while promoting her new TRU Plant Protein Powder. "We have really good communication. The kids are in school so it’s just coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs. It’s been really good spending a lot more quality time with the kids," she said.

As a refresher, Anstead was married to El Moussa for seven years until their split in 2016. They currently share their 10-year-old daughter Taylor and 5-year-old son Brayden, as well work together on Flip or Flop. El Moussa began dating Young in July 2019. The Selling Sunset star quickly tackled co-parenting duties with El Moussa, making her a regular in the kids' lives.

Back in April, Anstead had told Us Weekly that she and her ex-husband's new girlfriend were friendly. "We’ll, like, text each other random recipes right now during isolation," the mom-of-three revealed, as the ladies had found common ground over their similar diets.

Since Anstead shared that she had been hitting Young up, they both experienced major changes in their romantic relationships. El Moussa proposed to Young, and most recently, Anstead announced that she and her second husband Ant Anstead were separating after less than two years of marriage.

Young noted that despite the news currently surrounding Anstead, she and El Moussa have stayed quiet. "You know, we support her when it comes to coparenting and communicating but that’s about it," Young said. "We don’t mix our lives with hers. We’re supportive for the kids and that’s really it."

In the past four years, there have been no known conflicts between El Moussa and Anstead when it came to their co-parenting arrangement. As of 2018, El Moussa was permitted custody of Taylor and Brayden El Moussa every Wednesday through Saturday, as well as the third weekend of every month, according to People. Anstead is granted custody of the kids every Saturday through Wednesday.

Furthermore, the exes alternate who gets the kids on the holidays each year. This year, El Moussa will have the kids for Christmas. "We’ll probably do something with Tarek’s family and hopefully, my parents will be able to be there too," Young said of their upcoming plans.
