Artist Henry Hudson is set to sell off three digital portraits of vulnerable people who have been supported by our Help the Hungry Christmas campaign.

The contemporary painter and sculptor will sell each digital painting for £150 – with 100 per cent of the proceeds going towards our charitable partner With Compassion.

Over the Christmas period the charity’s volunteers are cooking up 1,000 meals a day to be delivered to homeless shelters, food banks and community outreach groups in a bid to tackle food poverty amid a harsh winter and the continued effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Henry Hudson’s portraits can be purchased here

Mr Hudson, whose work has featured in Sotheby’s gallery and typically sells for £8,000 to £65,000, said it was an “honour” to be part of the campaign.

“It feels amazing to be involved in this”, he said, adding: “I’ve lived in London for about three years now and so feels great to now be able to give back in some way and help raise money for an amazing charity

Each portrait will be limited edition prints sold only during this campaign – starting today and ending 18 December.

With Compassion’s work has been supported by our campaign partner The Felix Project, who source high quality surplus food that would otherwise be destined for the scrap heap and hand it out to food charities across the capital.

From their dark kitchen at London Scottish House, Compassion then serve up hot nutritious dishes to those who need it from a food truck provided by mobile catering conversion company Food Truck Master.

This November and December we will be delivering food directly to 1,000 people a day through our partner With Compassion. Please donate here to help us do all we can to ensure no one goes hungry this Christmas.
