Hilary Duff just gave a tour of her home, and we need her TV that doubles as a piece of art

One of the most cheerful and aesthetically pleasing videos to hit the internet in 2020, IMO, may just be Architectural Digest’s tour of Hilary Duff’s California home.

The star and her sense of style have come far from her time on Disney Channel’s “Lizzie McGuire” during the early 2000s. It’s immediately clear she’s perfected a boho-chic style as she opens the door to welcome you in. Watching the actress go from one sunshine-filled room to another made me immediately want to move to California and redesign a home complete with a chicken coop (yes, Hilary tends to chickens in her backyard during her free time).

While she keeps reminding you that her house “doesn’t always look this clean,” I don’t care — I just need everything in it, especially when I see her TV above an amazing credenza in her living room.

Hilary goes on to explain that the piece of art in the center of the room is not artwork at all, but it’s actually a TV — the Samsung Frame TV to be exact.

If you’ve ever thought TVs could be a total eyesore when it comes to your room’s aesthetic, don’t worry, I’ve been there too.

But with the Samsung Frame TV in art mode, it becomes a beautiful work of art of your choice when you’re not watching it. And what’s even better is that you can activate its built-in motion sensor so that it displays your art of choice once you walk into the room.

In order to match your room’s design, you can purchase individual art pieces through Samsung’s Art Store or choose the subscription to have access to a growing library of a variety of artists’ work.

And in order to customize your Frame TV even more, you can choose between a black, beige, brown or walnut-colored frame. You can see below that Hilary chose black for hers.

The Frame seamlessly blends into any room, sitting flush against the wall, and it also comes in six sizes: 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch to fit your budget and space.

And to add to your list of smart gadgets in your home, this Samsung TV also has built-in Alexa technology. By pressing and holding the mic button on the remote, you can ask Alexa to control smart home devices, change the channel, search for shows and movies, play music and more.

But don’t just take it from Hilary. The Samsung Frame has 90 reviews and counting.

“Super slim profile, great picture and sound quality, and I love that when it’s off we can display a piece of art that really enhances the room,” one reviewer said. “And if we get tired of that piece, we can choose another piece of artwork for variety.”

While the majority of reviewers love that the TV immediately elevates a room, some mention that the setup was more difficult than expected.

All in all, if you’re ready to upgrade your TV to a smart model, this is one of the prettiest options yet.
