Hollyoaks' Brody Hudson risks being caught out as he returns

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks' Brody Hudson puts himself in danger next week as he returns to the village and risks being caught.

Brody (Adam Woodward) is currently in hiding after scheming Summer Ranger (Rhiannon Clements) set him up as a suspect for the 'murder' of Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart), who Summer has been secretly keeping captive for weeks.

As the week begins, Liberty is still being held by Summer and, thanks to Summer's manipulation, Liberty wrongly believes that she killed young Leah Barnes (Elá-May Demircan) when she accidentally knocked her unconscious in the woods recently after she managed to escape from Summer.

Unbeknownst to Liberty, Leah has made a full recovery, but Liberty's guilty conscience prompts her to write a condolence note for Leah. She then manages to swap it out for a card that Summer intends to provide with a cake for Leah's family.

Meanwhile, Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts) is questioning Sienna Blake (Anna Passey)'s priorities. This touches a nerve with Sienna, who asks Summer if they can slow down their relationship.

Summer finds another opportunity to manipulate Sienna when some spilt food colouring gives her an idea. She decides to pretend that missing Brody has returned to attack her, even telling Sienna that Brody has beaten her before. Who will shocked Sienna believe?

After Summer delivers Leah's cake to her family and Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) discovers the card inside, he thinks that Leah's attacker is messing with them. On the hunt for Summer, Ste shows Sienna the card and questions her.

Sienna is delighted when she immediately recognises the handwriting on the card and she calls Damon to tell him the good news that Liberty is still alive. When Summer overhears the phone call, she tries to convince Sienna to let her give the letter to the police instead, but will Sienna listen?

Later on, Damon tries to show Sienna that Summer is gaslighting her, but when Sienna brings the topic up with Summer, Summer fiercely denies it.

Brody decides to take a risk by returning to the village to meet Damon in The Folly in order to discuss their plan. Damon asks Brody to help him find Liberty and prove his innocence, but Brody is terrified of being locked up and he declares that he won't meet Damon again unless they can get more evidence.
