Yahoo Finance Hollyoaks' Ella gets help over Victor blackmail

Sid has made a shock plan to stop drug boss Victor in Hollyoaks, in order to help Ella.
Wednesday's (January 27) episode saw Sid (Billy Price) discover that Ella (Erin Palmer) had a panic attack while being blackmailed by Victor (Benjamin O'Mahony) to sell drugs in the school, so he decided it was time to put a stop to it all.
Sid essentially offered himself up to Victor as a drug pusher replacement to get Ella off the hook, but only so he could gather evidence to help Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) in her case.
He approached Victor and managed to convince him with his offer, insisting: "The last person that cared about me is gone. I've got nothing to lose. And I've got the perfect front.
"Who's gonna suspect a kid with a disability of pushing drugs, eh? Let me do this."
Sid later visited Ella to let her know that she was officially off the hook, but begged her not to get herself caught up in anything messy again.
"You shouldn't have been involved in any of this in the first place, but now you're out. Enjoy being a kid," he encouraged. "Don't be in a hurry to grow up. You don't want to end up like me, do you?"
Ella assured him: "Yes, I do. You're one of the best people I know. I'll never forget what you've done for me."
Once Ella left, Sid filmed himself detailing his plan to record all of his drug deals as a way to prove Victor's crimes over the next several weeks.
"So, for Ella, Juliet, Jordan, Charlie and all the other kids' lives he's messed up, I'm taking Victor down from the inside," he vowed.
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
