Yahoo Finance Hollyoaks star Omar Malik addresses possible romantic spark for Shaq and Verity

Things are about to get very complicated for Shaq Qureshi with a possible romance with Verity Hutchinson.
In scenes already aired on E4 first-look, Shaq (Omar Malik) opened up to Verity (Eva O'Hara) about how he believes that his aunty Misbah's late husband Kashif is his biological father.
To prove this Shaq needs some DNA from Sami in the hope of proving they are brothers, and that's where Verity comes in.
"Shaq uses every bit of charm, charisma and flirtatious banter he can to get Verity to get a sample of Sami's hair," Malik told Inside Soap. "However, Shaq actually doesn't know the first thing about DNA, so Verity has to explain to him what they need to do. He just wants it done quickly so he's attempting everything he can in order to get Verity on side."
He added: "He's begging Verity to help and ends up getting quite emotional. He's using the kind of tactics he usually does on girls, but none of it is working!"
All the persuasive flirting could possibly turn romantic for Shaq and Verity, which would not go down well with his (maybe) brother.

"There could be something there," Malik teased about a possible relationship between the pair. "Shaq's a guy who thinks with his heart, and this is a big problem for him.
"He's never had a brother before and he doesn't want to mess things up with Sami. So this will be a challenge."
Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
