Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks is set to air terrifying scenes next week that will put a villager's life at risk.

The soap recently added West End star Sam Tutty to their cast in the role of Timmy, as Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) adds the newcomer and tech genius to his 'bluebird' operation team.

Fergus is trying to convince Walter Deveraux (Trevor A Toussaint) and Martine Deveraux (Kéllé Bryan) to sell Price Slice, and decides to plan a robbery with the help of Timmy and Warren (Jamie Lomas). Fergus's hope is that it will scare the Deverauxs into giving up their business.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Sam explained that the break-in is Timmy's idea, and also hinted that his character would be sticking around in Hollyoaks.

"I'm getting involved with a lot of people I'd not met before," Sam said. "And there's definitely an element of obsession to come – but with who or what, I'm not allowed to say."

As Timmy settles into the village, he wastes no time in helping Fergus and Warren with their business plans, Sam mentioning that Timmy is "proud" that the pair listen to him.

He explained: "The heist is all Timmy's idea – and Warren and Fergus actually listen to him! They go, 'Okay, let's trust Timmy and his plan', which he's very proud about.

"There's kind of this childlike excitement from Timmy and a sense of achievement, which there really shouldn't be!"

The plan almost gets ruined when Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) finds one of the group's tool bags. Warren manages to distract her, and tells her that he wants to take her away during the anniversary of her wedding to Patrick.

"There are times when it becomes very tense and they're all like, 'Oh, my God, are we going to get away with this?' The police turn up, and we'll see how Timmy deals with that," Sam added.

When the police show up, Timmy, Warren and Fergus begin to panic and end up putting someone's life in danger. Will they be found out and will the victim be okay?

Hollyoaks currently airs new episodes from Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
