Home Depot (HD) Outpaces Stock Market Gains: What You Should Know

Home Depot (HD) closed at $230.83 in the latest trading session, marking a +0.27% move from the prior day. The stock outpaced the S&P 500's daily gain of 0.03%. Meanwhile, the Dow gained 0.13%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, lost 0.11%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the home-improvement retailer had gained 6.04% over the past month. This has outpaced the Retail-Wholesale sector's gain of 4.61% and the S&P 500's gain of 4.17% in that time.

Meanwhile, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenue is projecting net sales of $27.46 billion, up 4.4% from the year-ago period.
