'I'm A Celeb' unveils new companion show with host Vick Hope

ITV has announced I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here's new spin-off show as the programme is set to be filmed in Wales for the first time.

The Daily Drop will give fans an extra insight into the show as Vick Hope hosts from a virtual studio with episodes dropped at 7am on the ITV Hub from 7am the morning after each show airs.

She will also be joined by a panel of guests, with the participating celebrities taking part in chats once they begin to leave the competition.

It's replacing Extra Camp which has been I'm A Celebrity's companion series from 2002 until 2019, although it was known I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Now! until 2015.

The upcoming 20th series is the first time the show won't be filmed in Australia as the coronavirus and travel restrictions meant the location had to be a bit closer to home.

Viewers will see famous faces head to Gwrych Castle in North Wales to complete trials and challenges to win meals and treats. The star who manages to last the course and remain popular with the public will be crowned either the King or Queen of the Castle.

Ant and Dec are returning to host the action live on ITV from the castle every night and they've already teased what's to come in a recent trailer.
