Inchcape reports lower full-year profit

Feb 28 (Reuters) - Car dealership chain Inchcape Plc reported a 2.6 percent decline in full-year pretax profit on Thursday, as Britain's auto market cooled and sales were hit by stricter emissions rules.

The company, which trades in over two dozen countries, said pretax profit on a constant currency basis fell to 356.8 million pounds ($474.19 million) for the year ended Dec. 31, compared to 381.6 million pounds reported a year earlier.
