Indian stocks to watch - April 1

GLOBAL MARKETS ROUNDUP

* Nifty futures traded at Singapore Exchange (SES: S68.SI - news) is up

0.36 percent while MSCI (NYSE: MSCI - news) -Asia Pacific excluding Japan index

gains 0.45 percent.

* Asian shares hit four-month highs on Tuesday after China's

official PMI survey showed manufacturing managed to continue

expanding in March, and dovish comments from Federal Reserve

Chair Janet Yellen.

* U.S. stocks rose on Monday, with the S&P 500 ending both

March and the first quarter of 2014 with moderate gains, after

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen relieved concerns about a

rate hike coming earlier than expected.

KEY EVENTS/FACTORS TO WATCH

* The Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy review. The

central bank is expected to keep its policy interest rate

unchanged after retail inflation, its preferred price gauge,

eased to a 25-month low in February (11:00 IST)

* India-Manufacturing PMI (10:30 IST)

Automakers report monthly sales for March.
